We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to support the development and ongoing support of business applications. This is an in-office role based in Nashville / Franklin, TN. Candidates must be local to the area; relocation is not available.

The Junior Software Engineer supports application development and maintenance within established systems and processes. This role focuses on completing core development and support tasks while gradually taking on greater ownership and responsibility. The engineer contributes to projects or specific project components, resolves technical issues, and helps enhance existing solutions with guidance from senior team members.

Responsibilities

Develop, configure, and support internal software applications
Analyze business and technical requirements to implement effective solutions
Support the full application lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and enhancements
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues using standard approaches, with the ability to adapt solutions as needed
Contribute to projects or assigned workstreams within larger initiatives
Collaborate closely with technical and business teams in an in-office environment
Document work, follow development standards, and support ongoing application maintenance
May provide guidance or task-level support to junior team members

Qualifications

Moderate experience in software development or digital technology environments
Working knowledge of programming, scripting, or database technologies
Understanding of application development and support processes
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work with moderate supervision while taking ownership of assigned tasks
Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams
