Business Analyst (Application Redevelopment) – Antwerp

We are looking for an Business Analyst to support a application redevelopment project aimed at modernizing their IT systems and improving business processes for an organization in the pharmaceutical wholesale sector.

This role involves gathering business requirements, analyzing existing processes, and working closely with IT and stakeholders to ensure the successful redesign and implementation of critical systems.

Strong expertise in application redevelopment, business process optimization, and stakeholder management is required, with experience in the pharmaceutical or logistics sector considered a plus.

Responsibilities:

Analyze current applications and define redevelopment requirements.
Gather, document, and validate business needs, translating them into functional specifications.
Collaborate with IT, developers, architects, and project managers to align business requirements with technical solutions.
Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements through automation, system enhancements, or workflow optimization.
Support testing and validation phases by defining test cases and ensuring business requirements are met.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
Assist with change management efforts to ensure a smooth transition for end-users.

Profile:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in application redevelopment or software implementation projects.
Strong knowledge of business process modeling and requirement-gathering methodologies.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or logistics sector is a plus.
Fluency in Dutch and English is required; French is a plus.

Additional Details:

SENIORITY: Mid-Level to Senior

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: 12 months (extension possible)

LOCATION: Antwerp Region (onsite presence required as needed)

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

LANGUAGES: Dutch (required), English (preferred)
