Job Description:
Our client is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to support the Service Automation Branch in maintaining, optimizing, and evolving an enterprise ServiceNow platform. This role ensures ServiceNow solutions align with business needs, industry best practices, and the client’s digital transformation goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support business analysis activities related to ServiceNow platform maintenance, enhancements, and strategic initiatives
Engage with stakeholders and lines of business to elicit, analyze, and document requirements, identify gaps, and translate needs into actionable specifications
Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), facilitate workshops, and perform research to inform technical design and business alignment
Develop and maintain requirements documentation, process maps, and training materials to support ServiceNow initiatives
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, developers, and Agile delivery teams to iteratively improve services and workflows
Define and document system integration requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, privacy, and security standards
Provide subject matter expertise and knowledge transfer to project team members
Support continuous improvement and modernization of service delivery using ServiceNow and ITSM-related technologies
ServiceNow Modules:
Experience supporting one or more of the following module groupings is required:
Catalog, Finance, and Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
CSDM and Enterprise Common Platform (ECP)
Customer Service Business Case (CSBC), ITSM, and Projects
Data and Software Asset Management (SAM)
Qualifications:
3+ years of Business Analysis experience supporting one or more of the ServiceNow module categories listed above
Proven experience analyzing and solving complex business problems within large organizations
Experience working in public-sector contracting environments
Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ITOM platforms
Strong facilitation skills, including leading multi-stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions
Experience supporting cross-organizational service delivery across diverse business units
Proven experience working in an Agile development environment
Strong understanding of systems thinking and interconnected service ecosystems
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
