Summary (brief description of the role)

Program Manager in relation to a high-profile class action settlement engagement. The Manager will be responsible for overseeing critical program workstreams, interacting with project managers, and effectively communicating with stakeholders including senior management. The role will require a “big picture” thinker, with excellent organizational skills to ensure workstreams remain aligned with program objectives.
The position is an opportunity to impact the greater community and live people-first values. The role requires respect for people that potentially face barriers due to trauma, mental health, poverty, etc.

Candidate will primarily work on site downtown Toronto location 3 days per week.

Role Deliverables

Communicate and interact with a variety of stakeholders including senior management, workstream project managers, partners, and external parties
Developing methods to exhibit data / information from workstreams for ease of reference by stakeholders
Monitoring program progress, identifying risks, and work with project managers to implement mitigation strategies
Maintaining awareness of varying stakeholder requests while balancing core program objectives
Identifying, tracking, and logging issues for later resolution
Collaborating with team leaders and management to provide leadership, guidance, and support to meet program goals
Preparing relevant reporting for senior stakeholders to increase program oversight and accountability

Education/Work Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or a related field

5+ years of project / program management experience

Ability to develop reporting to summarize, contextualize, and simplify data points

Experience working with product teams and understanding DevOps processes and configurations considered an asset

English imperative, with Bilingualism (English/French) or the ability to speak an Indigenous language (i.e., Cree languages, Inuktitut, Ojibway etc.) considered an asset

Knowledge of Indigenous culture is an asset
