Supply Chain Internship

Florenceville, New Brunswick

In every role, McCainers are ambitious, curious, and passionate about creating exceptional work experiences - together. With a customer-first mindset, we make doing business with McCain easy.

About The Role.

Ready to put what you’ve learned in the classroom into action? Join McCain Foods’ North American Supply Chain team as a Supply Chain Intern for Summer 2026. This paid internship is a chance to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and make an impact at a global food company.

During the internship, you’ll work in one of our key areas— Logistics, Customer Service, Deployment, Inventory Planning or Supply Planning. Along the way, you’ll learn how supply chains really run, with exposure to everything from managing inventory and balancing supply with demand, to moving products through warehouses and transportation networks, to building customer relationships and using data to solve real business challenges.

The internship will take place from May through August 2026 at our Florenceville, New Brunswick, Canada office. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, where our interns collaborate in person with their teams at least three days a week, while the remaining day may be worked remotely or in the office. In addition to the work performed in the internship, you’ll have opportunities for professional development, networking, and mentorship to help you build skills and confidence for your future career.

What You’ll Be Doing.

As a Supply Chain Intern, you’ll contribute directly to the daily operations and strategic priorities of the supply chain function. You’ll take ownership of key processes within a core functional area—supporting critical business activities, analyzing performance data, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy. In addition to your operational responsibilities, you’ll continue developing your business acumen, leadership capabilities, problem-solving approach, and ability to collaborate across teams. By the end of the program, you’ll have a solid foundation for your career by:

Understanding how different parts of the supply chain work together and the roles involved
Building practical skills like time management and teamwork across departments
Gaining experience working with large datasets to support business decisions

What You’ll Need To Be Successful.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret, analyze, and draw insights from complex datasets.
Clear and professional communicator, adept at building and maintaining strong working relationships in collaborative team environments.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities, consistently delivering high-quality work with speed and accuracy in fast-paced environments.
Skilled in investigating complex challenges, pinpointing root causes, and implementing effective, long-term solutions.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently while applying a critical, analytical mindset.
Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with deep expertise in Microsoft Excel and related tools.
