Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care.

Role

Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:

Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization
Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation
Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more

The Operational Risk Programs team helps to safeguard the bank by designing and implementing the frameworks, policies and standards that manage TD's operational risk, including but not limited to the Operational Risk Framework, Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Key Indicators, Control Testing, Internal Loss Event Data, Issues Management, Scenario Analysis and Operational Capital. We partner closely with first- and second-line teams and leadership to identify risks, strengthen controls and meet complex regulatory expectations. By driving consistent standards, insightful reporting and continuous improvement across the organization, we hep to create a stronger and more reliable organization.

Job Description

The role will support the evolution of the bank's Process Risk Programs (RCSA, Key Indicators, Control Testing). Activities include, developing reporting dashboards to provide management actionable insights on their process risk profile. Supporting implementation of the End-to-End RCSA program. Assisting in the development and delivery of user training, tools and job aids.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
Excellent data and analytics skills
Prior experience with PowerBI, PowerApps and/or Advanced Excel is an asset
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Excellent time management skills
Confident, transparent and concise communicator
Excellent attention to details
Ability to deal with ambiguity and constantly changing circumstances

This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th - August 21st 2026.
