Commercial Analyst (6-Month Fixed Term Contract)

Contract: 6-month FTC

Start: ASAP

We’re looking for a Commercial Analyst to join a forward-thinking, dynamic business on an initial 6-month fixed term contract. This is a project- and output-driven role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys turning data into commercial insight.

This role is not BAU-focused. Instead, you’ll play a key part in shaping commercial decision-making, supporting new ideas, and driving improvements across cost and pricing.

Key Responsibilities

Update, maintain and enhance existing revenue models using advanced Excel skills
Build and assess commercial models to support new initiatives and business ideas
Lead and support a major cost and pricing project, providing clear, actionable insight
Analyse financial and commercial data to identify risks, opportunities and value drivers
Work closely with stakeholders to challenge assumptions and support decision-making
Present insights in a clear, concise and commercially focused way

What We’re Looking For

Strong Excel skills (essential) – comfortable with complex models and large data sets
Proven experience in a commercial, analytical or financial analysis role
Experience updating or building revenue, cost or pricing models
A commercially curious mindset with the confidence to add insight, not just numbers
Comfortable working in a dynamic, changeable environment with minimal hand-holding
Experience is valued over qualifications, though part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) is desirable
