Job Specifications

Harvey Nash are now recruiting for a Commercial Analyst, a six month contract – inside of IR35.

Daily rate of £500 - £575
Remote working with office visits once a week – South England or offices available in Scotland.
Service Management Transformation/Transition
Energy/utilities sector

Support our client by providing expert, high-level contractual and technical assurance across the programme, ensuring supplier obligations are met during the Service transition and are aligned to the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract and Technical assurance

Constantly monitor contractual requirements against the transition plan to ensure compliance with the contract and propose corrective actions.
Reviewing the functional and technical specifications being delivered against the requirements.
Providing expertise on systems, software and processes to support the programme.

Reporting & Insights

Prepare regular reports on gaps identified and propose appropriate actions
Stakeholder Support
Assist and guide operational, finance, procurement, and commercial teams and provide analytical support.

Skills & Experience Required

Strong financial, commercial, and business analysis background.
Advanced Excel skills (modelling, pivot tables, lookups, scenario analysis).
Ability to interpret and communicate data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
Good understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and profitability drivers.
Good experience on different technologies and services such as Azure, AWS, Service Desk, End User Services and Service Management/SIAM
Experience working in energy, utilities, infrastructure, or similar industries.
Experience in regulated tender environment
