What You Will Do

This position is responsible to drive brand growth and accelerate market share of select L’Oreal Paris hair color brand franchise(s) by developing innovative strategies and go-to-market plans for both new launches and cores businesses with executional excellence. In addition, the Senior Marketing Manager responsibilities includes owning and uncovering deep consumer insights to initiate breakthrough communications, data-driven marketing alongside media analysis and recommendations. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to performing business & competitive analyses, marketing budget/financial control, and preparing presentations for top management meetings. This position is an opportunity for a proactive, self-motivated individual to be both creative and analytical to help accelerate growth for this innovative and loved brand.

Job Responsibilities

Brand Management & New Product Launches:

Ownership and responsibility for supervising entire go-to-market (activation) process across multiple launches- shopper, social, media, education, etc.
Sell in projects to management at large
Influence long term strategic product development with global partners
Collaborate with Creative to create launch materials including advertising, merchandising, sampling and point-of-sale collateral

Strategy & Planning

Drive the research, analysis, category trends and insights to develop long term strategy
Oversee and guide plans development and create vision for businesses
Contribute to total category strategy / plans

Sales/Trade Marketing

Drive the research, analysis, category trends and insights to develop long term strategy
Oversee and guide plans development and create vision for businesses
Contribute to total category strategy / plans
Collaborate with Omni Shopper partners to develop promotional strategy and activation calendar

Financial P&L And Forecasting

Ownership of annual sales forecast and monthly monitoring of performance, KPIs etc
Understand and manage financial implication of forecast (i.e.) E10 and Full year number
Own accuracy of all budgets and roll up of total category with finance
Manage budget allocation between Marketing and Advertising spending buckets and brands with peers
Work cross-functionally to identify and execute valorization opportunities that improve product margin

Promotions/Advertising / Media

Actively monitor media/advertising performance and influence strategic direction for owned franchises

Education/Experience

What We Are Looking For:

BA degree required.
5+ years of Industry related marketing work experience (consumer package goods, beauty, personal care/grooming)
Experience working collaboratively with various business functions including Finance, Sales, Industry, Supply Chain, Demand Planning and Creative
Experience managing external and agency relationships, with focus on integrated-ICC campaigns
Demonstrated experience successfully launching and managing new products or renovation
Familiarity with Digital and Social Media marketing platforms and tactics
Proficiency in reading and analyzing syndicated market/sales data (IRI, Nielsen, Salesforce, etc)
Prior experience in Operational Marketing
