About the Opportunity:

The organization is an Elite ServiceNow Partner providing Service Reliability solutions through expert process knowledge, technology insight, and operational experience. This role involves leading the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of customized applications within the ServiceNow platform, focusing on custom solutions to meet business needs primarily using JavaScript on the ServiceNow Service Portal.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build ServiceNow solutions supporting business requirements

• Lead technical design and documentation aligned with business needs

• Enhance and implement new features using platform functionalities and JavaScript development

• Manage Data Imports and Fix Scripts to load and clean production data

• Create and maintain custom workflows for application capabilities

• Conduct unit-testing and resolve defects

• Execute Release Management processes for migrating changes to production

• Monitor platform performance and security using tools like the Security Center dashboard

• Implement and maintain scripts that auto-populate, generate, attach, and render fillable PDF documents using ServiceNow APIs such as GlideSysAttachment and PDFGenerationAPI

• Perform platform upgrades and validate custom components during upgrade activities

Requirements:

• 2-3+ years of ServiceNow Development experience, 5+ years software development experience with JavaScript preferred

• Deep understanding of JavaScript to create and maintain Record Producers, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Widgets within scoped applications

• Knowledge of Service Portal and ServiceNow APIs

• Experience with Angular, HTML, and CSS for portal and widget maintenance and custom development

• Ability to review, revise, streamline, refactor, and consolidate customized applications and components efficiently

• Experience with ServiceNow platform upgrades and cloning

• Experience building and executing test scripts or ATF if time permits

• Security clearance: Secret or higher

• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Security+ CE certification

• Other CIS/Accreditations showing certified product knowledge; CIS-Customer Service Management (CSM) and Service Portal Microcertification preferred

• Experience developing and implementing ServiceNow APIs or equivalent API experience

• Experience working with Adobe fillable PDF templates and variables
