1508 London is a global high-end Interior Design studio based in central London, that creates exceptional spaces worldwide. 1508 London are looking to recruit Marketing Manager to join our fast paced and busy studio. We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to be responsible for development, implementation, and execution of the marketing strategy globally. This is a generalist role, covering all aspects of the marketing mix.
REPORT TO: Partner & Business Director
KEY STAKEHOLDERS: Owner, Partners, Board Members and Senior Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the implementation of an effective global marketing strategy aligned to the Company’s strategic aims and objectives.
Responsible for Marketing Campaigns, Projects, and Events with the input of the line manager.
Deliver successful Marketing Campaigns that have measurable impact on sales, audience size and engagement.
Review, measure, and report on all marketing activities to the Board and Senior Management Team.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify trends, competitor analysis and opportunities for increasing brand awareness and outreach.
Increase brand awareness in existing territories, emerging markets and other revenue generating sectors.
Lead the development of all marketing plans and processes that showcase the Company and projects on a global scale.
Manage creative and external agencies such as videographers, photographers, graphic designers, to create high quality and uniform content across all marketing channels.
Act as a press liaison between the Company and journalists to celebrate and showcase projects to external media sources.
PR: Collaborate with project teams to develop design-led press releases for distribution to media contacts, highlighting 1508 London’s work.
Responsible for Digital Marketing: Manage the company's social media channels, website, and SEO to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
Curate and Generate Content: thought leadership, blog post, content, company profiles, photography and video.
Create internal and external brand guidelines and collateral that reflects 1508 London.
Event Management: conception, development, and implementation of marketing events to drive interest and sales.
Sales Support: support the sales team with collateral and content to help them convert new business – ie. profile and portfolio updates, new business pitches, collateral for panel talks and events. .
Brand Partnerships: identify potential opportunities for brand partnership and collaborations within the interior design sector.
Stakeholder Management: work collaboratively with a variety of internal stakeholders across the sales and interior design team to ensure there is buy-in and understanding about future marketing campaigns.
Act as brand ambassador for the company and attend networking events on behalf of 1508.
Desired Skills:
Marketing qualification / proven experience as a generalist Marketing Manager
In-depth understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Proficient in Canva, Adobe Suite and Microsoft
A self-starter / ability to work independently
Ability to perform well under pressure and high attention to detail
Adept at creative content, and be analytical and commercially focused
Excellent communication and writing skills
Experience in using content management systems and analytics tools
Positive attitude, well presented and strong work ethic.
The Offer
Full time / Permanent position
Five days a week in the office – 7 Howick Place, London, SW1P 1BB
9am to 6pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 5.30pm Friday
25 days holiday + bank holidays
