Senior Associate – Interim Contract (Inside IR35)

Day Rate: Up to £450 per day

Contract Length: Initial 3‑month contract with strong possibility of extension

Working Pattern: Hybrid (50% office / 50% home)

Contract Status: Inside IR35

Lorien are seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate with Renewables experience to play a pivotal role in advancing our mission to support sustainable and equitable growth. Working closely with the investment team, you will be involved in financial analysis, due diligence, and delivering end‑to‑end deal execution support.

This interim assignment is an excellent opportunity for an analytical, commercially minded professional to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative investment function.

Key Responsibilities

Build, interpret and review financial and commercial valuation models to guide investment decisions.
Conduct thorough desktop research and market assessments.
Scope, manage and evaluate independent due diligence on investment opportunities.
Draft, review and contribute to investment committee papers.
Provide consistent deal execution support across the full investment lifecycle.
Manage multiple time‑sensitive transactions within a complex environment.
Work effectively within a supportive, skilled, multidisciplinary team.

Skills & Experience

Experience in a financial, commercial or industrial environment is advantageous.
Degree educated in Business, Finance or related fields; professional qualifications such as CA, CFA or similar are highly valued.
Alternatively, hands-on experience in M&A, transactional banking, investment, or corporate development will be highly regarded.
Comfortable working flexibly to meet client and transaction‑driven deadlines.
Strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and a solutions‑focused team mindset.
