Job Summary

The Business Solutions Consultant is a senior professional responsible for leading the design, implementation, optimization, and governance of ERP, CRM & AI related business technologies. The role combines strategic advisory, deep technical leadership, and executive-level consulting to support complex enterprise digital transformation initiatives.

This position requires extensive industry experience and broad exposure across multiple business sectors to effectively design scalable, adaptable technology solutions. The Business Solutions Consultant serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and plays a key role in shaping long-term business technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Advisory Responsibilities

Lead CRM, ERP & AI business technology strategy engagements, advising clients and stakeholders on adoption, optimization, and long-term roadmap planning.
Translate business requirements into scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to executive and senior management stakeholders on CRM, customer experience, and digital transformation initiatives.

Leadership & Mentorship

Maintain effective advisory partnerships with senior client leadership to drive strategic business technology initiatives.
Analyze existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and technology enablement.
Provide technical and functional leadership to consultants, developers, and analysts.
Mentor and coach junior team members, contributing to skills development and knowledge sharing.
Contribute to internal best practices, delivery frameworks, and reusable assets.

Project & Stakeholder Management

Lead multi-disciplinary project teams through all phases of delivery: discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Oversee solution architecture, data models, security frameworks, and integration strategies.
Oversee project scope & risks, ensuring delivery within agreed objectives.
Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive professional experience in information technology, business systems, and digital transformation, including senior-level consulting or leadership roles.
At least 3 years of direct experience with Salesforce and/or enterprise CRM platforms, including leadership of large-scale or complex implementations.
Demonstrated experience working across multiple industries, such as financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, technology, public sector, or professional services.
Proven track record of advising executive stakeholders and leading enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Extensive experience translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions across diverse organizational environments.

Technical Skills

Extensive hands-on and architectural experience with CRM platforms especially Salesforce related tools.
Experience with ERP platforms and architectures.
Strong understanding of enterprise level architecture, data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
Experience in integrating multiple systems, analytics platforms, marketing automation tools, and third-party applications.
Experience consulting on AI solutions for complex, multi-stakeholder business use cases, leveraging industry knowledge to design, recommend, and guide effective AI implementations

Professional Skills

Strong leadership and mentorship experience in consulting or enterprise environments.
Executive-level communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities applied to complex, multi-industry business challenges.
Ability to operate independently in a senior advisory role while collaborating with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.

Employment Conditions

Full-time, permanent position.
Competitive salary - CAD 60 - CAD 86 per hour based on experience.
Benefits package commensurate with senior-level experience.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project or client needs.
