What is the opportunity?

We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Junior Developer Intern in our Growth Operations team. In this role, you will support the development, optimization, and maintenance of web applications and websites. You will contribute to implementing technical solutions to improve website performance, enhance user experience, and ensure compliance with SEO best practices. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for web development, a strong technical foundation, and a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

What will you do?

Implement and optimize meta tags (titles, descriptions) and SEO strategies to improve website visibility.
Ensure proper implementation of schema markup (e.g., JSON-LD) for rich snippets and structured data.
Collaborate with developers to implement lazy loading, image compression, and CSS/JavaScript optimization for faster load times.
Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) to enhance website performance and user experience.
Assist in debugging and troubleshooting website issues to ensure smooth functionality.
Capture user interactions through the use of datalayer tracking
Update and maintain website content and copy to ensure accuracy and consistency
Identify and fix broken redirects, crawl errors and technical issues preventing proper indexing

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have:

Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and schema markup (e.g., JSON-LD).
Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, image compression).
Understanding of Core Web Vitals and website performance metrics.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with development teams.
Interest in web technologies and user experience.

Nice-to-Have:

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Interest in emerging web technologies and trends.
A growth mindset and eagerness to learn and adapt.

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2026 Student placement with a start date of May 2026, and end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026 ; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
