Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Fire and Security Engineer role based in York. Key tasks include the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire and security systems such as fire alarms, intruder alarms, emergency lighting, and other safety systems. You will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting issues, testing system functionality, and following safety protocols to ensure reliable operation of all systems. The role also involves collaboration with clients, providing professional on-site support and advice.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Security Engineering and Application Security practices
Understanding and experience with Network Security and Cybersecurity
Familiarity with Information Security best practices
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in fire and security systems
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Professional communication skills for client interaction
Relevant certifications in fire and security systems are a plus
Experience in system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations as needed
