Job Description:
On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a ServiceNow Developer for a 12-month contract engagement. This role will support the design, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow solutions, with a focus on service request and fulfilment, Service Portal, automation, and integrations within a complex enterprise and public-sector environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and build ServiceNow service request and fulfilment functionality, including requests, request items, and tasks, using workflows to manage data flows between customers and fulfilment teams
Develop and enhance ServiceNow Service Portal features, including the customer-facing service catalogue, service requests, dashboards, and portal widgets
Configure and manage ServiceNow security models, including access control lists (ACLs), portal widget security, and catalog access
Leverage ServiceNow scripting and platform functionality to automate manual and repetitive tasks
Implement integrations and process automation using ServiceNow Orchestration
Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and external systems
Support upgrades across ServiceNow family packs and participate in resolving upgrade-related issues
Collaborate with business stakeholders and delivery teams within an Agile delivery framework
ServiceNow Modules:
Experience in one or more of the following module groupings is required:
Catalog & Software Asset Management (SAM)
Finance & Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
Data and/or Enterprise Common Platform (ECP)
ITSM and Project Portfolio Management
Qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform
Proven experience delivering ServiceNow solutions in large public-sector environments, such as provincial, municipal, state, or federal government organizations
Strong experience building complex Service Portal and Request Fulfilment solutions
Experience participating in Agile project environments, collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams
Hands-on experience supporting ITSM / ITIL-based implementations
Demonstrated expertise in:
Service request and fulfilment workflows
ServiceNow scripting and automation
Orchestration and system integrations
Data loading, transformation, and maintenance
Service Portal development and configuration
Platform upgrades and upgrade remediation
