Role: Salesforce Consultant
Rate: £500 p/d (Inside IR35)
Location: London HQ – 3 days p/w on site
Duration: 3 months
The role is primarily focused on user support, data integrity, training, reporting, adoption, and governance, rather than Salesforce configuration or development. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to CRM users, managers, and leadership, helping to ensure the platform is used consistently, securely, and effectively as the organisation scales.
Experience Required:
Experience working in large, global organisations with complex, multi-layered structures.
Strong experience supporting Salesforce users in a live production environment (non-configuration role).
Proven experience ensuring data integrity within Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Experience creating and maintaining reports and dashboards.
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, access management, and governance.
Experience supporting platform adoption across multi-matrixed organisations.
Experience within Private Wealth or Financial Services environments
Exposure to Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
Salesforce Superbadge related to security or access management.
CIPD qualification or background in Learning & Development.
Key Responsibilities
User Support & Operations
Act as 1st line support for all primary Salesforce CRM users across multiple regions.
Manage and resolve user queries, incidents, and access requests in a timely and professional manner.
Support CRM administration activities, including new user set-up and deactivation, managing user access rights, roles, profiles, and permission and supporting reporting and dashboard access
Training, Adoption & Enablement
Deliver training to users to ensure consistency of usage and support the rollout of new functionality.
Support managers and leadership teams in driving effective CRM usage and adoption.
Assist the CRM Manager in the development and ongoing maintenance of CRM user guides, training materials and adoption resources
Support and engage with Salesforce Champion Communities to promote best practice and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
Leverage learning and development principles (CIPD or similar background beneficial) to improve training effectiveness.
Change, Releases & Testing
Support CRM change initiatives by gathering and documenting requirements for enhancements and supporting release communications and release notes
Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Implementation Verification (PIV) testing.
Participate in PIV and UAT testing on Sundays approximately once every two months, aligned with release schedules.
Data Integrity, Governance & Compliance
Take ownership of data integrity, ensuring high standards of data quality, consistency, and reliability across the platform (essential).
Support CRM audits, access reviews, and compliance activities.
Maintain and support CRM policies and procedures documentation.
Apply strong Salesforce security awareness, ideally supported by a Salesforce security-related Superbadge.
