Job Title: Senior Clinical Trial Management Associate

Location: Santa Monica, CA (Hybrid – On-site 3 days/week)

Contract Duration: 12 months with potential extension)

Interview: Virtual initial interview, followed by three rounds

Pay range: $60- $67/hr.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Management Associate to support ongoing and late-stage clinical trials. While Clinical Trial Managers (CTMs) lead the studies, this role requires the ability to independently manage key trial activities as needed.

Studies Supported:

Long-term follow-up / safety monitoring study – maintenance-focused, patients followed for up to 15 years
Late-stage study – currently in close-out phase

Trial Phase Focus:

Phase I
Early development / long-term follow-up

Key Responsibilities

Support Clinical Trial Managers across assigned studies
Independently own specific workstreams as needed
Lead vendor meetings (central lab, imaging vendors, etc.)
Coordinate cross-functionally with Data Management, Regulatory, and other functions
Track timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups to ensure study milestones are met
Support study maintenance and close-out activities
Participate in issue escalation and vendor oversight
Lead meetings when required, even in a support capacity

Must-Have Qualifications

Strong understanding of clinical trial operations
Previous experience in clinical trial support roles (CTMA, CRA, CRC, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional deadline management and prioritization abilities
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Bachelor’s degree with relevant clinical research experience

Preferred Qualifications

Oncology trial experience (preferred, not required)
Experience at a sponsor or CRO
CTM-level candidates open to a senior CTMA role
Experience independently managing vendor relationships

Work Model & Travel

Hybrid role: Santa Monica, CA (3 days on-site per week)
Remote work may be considered depending on candidate availability
Minimal travel required
Occasional face-to-face meetings or workstreams
