About The Role
We are seeking a Senior AI Agent Engineer to join a fast-moving digital transformation team at a leading organization. This is a hands-on role designing and deploying agentic AI systems that deliver real-world impact for customers. You will be working on sophisticated AI workflows, from prompt architecture and multi-step reasoning agents to serverless orchestration using AWS-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement agentic AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, including Agents, Knowledge Bases, and Guardrails
Build and orchestrate serverless workflows with Lambda, Step Functions, and EventBridge
Develop advanced prompt strategies for multi-step reasoning and autonomous agents (ReAct, chain-of-thought, plan-and-execute, reflection)
Integrate AI agents with APIs, tools, and external resources
Build frameworks to evaluate agent performance, reliability, and safety
Collaborate with software engineers, designers, and product owners to deliver fully integrated solutions
Mentor junior team members and share best practices in AI and software engineering
Technical Requirements / Skills
Strong experience in prompt engineering and building autonomous AI agents
Hands-on with AWS Bedrock, Python, LangChain, and serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3)
Experience with Terraform and modern CI/CD practices
Strong understanding of API integration, tool-use patterns, and database optimization
Solid software development experience in Python or Java (5–9 years total experience preferred)
Familiarity with functional programming concepts, software design patterns, and cybersecurity principles
