Job Description:
The Digital Project Manager will support a Digital Design team within a large Personal Banking organization, managing high-volume digital design initiatives for public-facing websites.
This role is responsible for end-to-end project planning, Agile delivery, stakeholder coordination, and execution across design, content, research, marketing, and technology teams.
The position focuses on delivering complex digital initiatives efficiently while maintaining quality, governance, accessibility, and design system standards in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
:Act as the dedicated day-to-day Project Manager for Agile delivery squads, partnering closely with Product Owners.
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, and resourcing to ensure on-time delivery.
Translate business, marketing, and design priorities into clearly scoped and sequenced delivery plans.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Proactively identify risks, issues, blockers, and dependencies and drive resolution across teams.
Manage scope changes and competing priorities while communicating impacts to budget, timelines, and risk.
Serve as an escalation point to resolve conflicts and remove delivery barriers.
Coordinate work across shared team members supporting multiple initiatives.
Track progress and provide regular project status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
Ensure adherence to governance, accessibility standards, and design system usage.
Promote continuous improvement, best practices, and innovative delivery approaches.
Lead project closure activities including delivery analysis and stakeholder feedback.
Must Have:
7+ years of project management experience in digital, marketing, or customer-facing platforms.
Proven experience managing large public websites or content-driven digital platforms.
Strong Agile delivery experience (stand-ups, sprints, planning, retrospectives).
Hands-on proficiency with Jira for planning and tracking.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (design, content, research, development, marketing).
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have:
PMP certification
Experience with tools such as Confluence, Mural, and Figma (for design coordination)
Familiarity with accessibility standards and digital governance.
Experience working within agency environments or high-volume design request teams.
Exposure to user research practices and methodologies.
