ServiceNow Administrator

About the Role
CirrusLabs is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement with one of our enterprise clients. This role is responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the ServiceNow platform to support IT service management and enterprise workflows. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure system stability, performance, and scalability.
Configure workflows, business rules, UI policies, forms, and catalog items to meet business requirements.
Manage platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption.
Integrate ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using APIs and web services.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvement opportunities.
Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
Maintain technical documentation related to configurations, processes, and best practices.
Provide support and guidance to end users and stakeholders to drive platform adoption and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on experience administering ServiceNow in an enterprise environment.
Strong experience with ServiceNow configuration, workflow automation, and platform upgrades.
Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA, five days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator).
Experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CMDB.
Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM best practices.
Prior experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Contract Details
Duration: 6-Month Contract with intent to convert to full-time
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday
Start Date: ASAP
