Our telecoms client is urgently looking for a Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of network infrastructure and security changes across existing and new equipment.

This role is for 3 months initially and is fully onsite at Stockley Park (5 days per week).
The rate is £400-£425 per day outside IR35.

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of network infrastructure and security changes across existing and new equipment. This role requires strong coordination with network engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely, risk-managed execution of configuration changes and deployments.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage network infrastructure projects involving:
o Fortinet SD-WAN and Fortinet Firewalls
o Cisco Nexus switching environments
o Cisco LAN and Wi-Fi networks
* Plan and coordinate configuration changes on existing network equipment.
* Manage preparation and deployment activities for new network hardware.
* Develop project plans where equipment volumes and scope may evolve over time.
* Coordinate configuration loading, testing, rollback planning, and change windows.
* Manage dependencies, risks, and change control processes.
* Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
* Ensure proper documentation of configurations, change activities, and implementation plans.
* Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables; provide regular status reports.
* Ensure compliance with security, networking, and operational standards.
