Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Business Analyst - IT III to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.
Contract Period: 10 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $64 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON

Business Hours: Monday-Friday;9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
Lead stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to gather, synthesize, and prioritize business, user, and non-functional requirements
Document common capabilities, including key integrations and reusable components, to ensure consistency and scalability across global markets
Document current-state and future-state processes (process maps, swim lanes), customer journeys, and content governance models
Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria; manage requirements traceability through delivery
Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to identify opportunities; build business cases, ROI models, and benefits realization plans
Partner with the product team to refine and prioritize backlogs using frameworks (e.g., MoSCoW)
Facilitate backlog grooming and sprint planning for common capabilities and other products as required
Coordinate cross-functional teams (business, engineering, QA, CX, and marketing) to ensure requirements are clearly understood and executable
Support UAT planning and execution (test scenarios and expected results for product and user acceptance testing); manage defect triage and retesting
Prepare training content and change management materials to support adoption
Analyse product performance against KPIs/OKRs
Identify gaps and recommend data-driven improvements
Prepare reports and executive-ready presentations to communicate insights, decisions, and delivery progress
Conduct A/B tests and experimentation with product teams; interpret qualitative and quantitative feedback to refine experiences
Create user journey flows, process flows, data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and interaction maps to clarify how data and content move through systems (including AEM Cloud and adjacent MarTech tools)
Partner with engineering to clarify integration points, data contracts, and edge cases; review API payloads (JSON/XML), error handling, and field mappings
Support configuration-driven changes (e.g., content models, workflows, metadata, tagging) and coordinate feature rollouts across regions
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the SDLC, ensuring alignment, transparency, and quality
Experience & Qualification Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree
5-7 Years of Business System Analyst Experience
Preferred experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets, Workflows, and other Marketing Applications) in a cloud-native environment
Candidates who have worked on other digital transformation initiatives involving content management or experience management systems
Proficiency in creating process/user and data flow visuals (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro); comfortable with Postman for basic API testing and Figma for reviewing UX artifacts
Understanding of non-functional requirements (performance, accessibility, privacy/security, content governance) and how they impact delivery
In-depth understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies, and technological systems
Good understanding of the group function, including product offerings, service, and management structure
Understanding of system design, analysis, and user testing
Comfort operating in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban); proficiency using Jira
Confluence for backlog and documentation
Ability to cultivate relationships and influence across diverse teams and levels
Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills
Experience with AEM Cloud (or similar CMS/experience platforms)
API understanding (JSON/XML), integrations, and non-functional requirements
Experience with cloud migration required
Understanding of content governance, metadata, and tagging
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
