We are looking for a Contract Recruiter to join our team that leads the recruitment efforts across the portfolio of properties in full-service hotels across North America - this position will focus predominantly on Sales, Catering and Events opportunities.

Our Recruiters are responsible for high-volume end-to-end recruitment of all non-exempt and exempt roles. The Recruitment Operations Center delivers best-in-class recruitment practices, compliance and is the frontline of our employee brand.

We strive to constantly build a pipeline of top talent, working within the community to establish contacts and connections to feed the talent pool.

Candidate will be based remotely. Preferred locations to include California, Arizona, Oregon, Utah and Texas.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience with interviewing, strong stakeholder management skills and excellent organization skills. 2- 3 years' experience at a management level in Sales & Marketing, Events or Catering within a large-sized hotel is essential.

What will I be doing?

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for exempt/non-exempt level recruitment and ensure the most highly qualified candidates are recruited to fill open positions throughout North America!

Additionally, the Recruiter will ensure the positions are filled in a timely and efficient manner that is in full compliance with all federal, state, and company guidelines.

· Strategy – Be aligned with the Americas Recruitment/HR Operations function while supporting outstanding recruitment results.

· Talent Advisor – Deliver a supportive and consultative approach while managing a high volume of exempt requisitions to hire the world’s best hospitality team members.

· Culture – Ensure an outstanding workplace that delivers on our values, mission, and purpose.

· Recruitment Operations Excellence - Embrace and lead the implementation of all Americas Recruitment Operations initiatives and objectives with a consistent commitment to excellence in execution, and comprehensiveness.

More specifically, you will:

· Ensure recruitment process, metrics, and compliance are achieved to Hilton’s set standards.

· Work independently as well as be an active and encouraging team member of the overall Recruitment Operations Center.

· Provide and communicate regular recruitment updates to Recruitment Leaders, hiring managers, and the property-level leadership team.

· Utilize an applicant tracking system such as Taleo to review, analyze and evaluate the information provided by applicants in response to job postings. Conduct screening interviews and forward qualified candidates to hiring managers.

· Ensure that minimum qualification standards are established before posting positions and post positions internally, externally, and with commercial job sites

· Coordinate all pre-approved selection tests and pre-employment processes, including, but not limited to, background checks, drug testing, and employment authorization verification. Once a candidate is selected, extend job offers and close out positions in the system upon completing all required notes and final dispositions.

· Build and maintain a continually stocked pipeline of quality talent through various methods. Including, but not limited to, networking within the hospitality community, building and maintaining relationships with schools/professional organizations, sourcing/cold calling outreach, attending job fairs, and fostering continued contact with quality candidates who may qualify for future positions with Hilton.

· Train, develop, and foster professional relationships with hiring managers at Hotels and Business Leaders within the organization to ensure recruitment needs are adequately and accurately assessed and met in a timely and efficient manner and timeliness.

This position is a Contract position and is paying between $26 - $32 per hour dependent on location and applicable and specialized experience.
