Position Title: Manager, Education Institutes and Outreach

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid Remote – Tuesday through Thursday onsite)

Clearance Requirements: None (U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required)

Position Status: Full Time / Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $70,000 – $80,000 (commensurate with experience)

Position Description: Join a dynamic team dedicated to advancing professional development in the electrical contracting industry through high-impact educational programs. As the Manager, Education Institutes and Outreach, you will lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of premier education institutes while driving member engagement through strategic outreach initiatives.

This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative learning experiences for industry professionals, collaborate cross-functionally, and contribute to meaningful programs that support career growth and industry advancement. Expect up to 20% travel for conventions, events, classes, and industry gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee full lifecycle management of education institutes, including marketing, registration, pre-program coordination, on-site execution, and post-program follow-up and evaluation
Support outreach to members and chapters by managing communications, developing participation initiatives, and delivering exceptional, "white glove" member service
Collaborate on content curation and development of tailored educational resources for members and chapters
Generate and analyze usage metrics, reports, and insights to measure program impact and inform future strategy
Assist in planning and executing educational activities for the Annual Convention and other key meetings, including follow-up and reconciliation
Support the rollout and dissemination of industry innovation resources and related initiatives
Handle additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed

Required Skills/Education:

2–5 years of experience managing educational programs, preferably in a member-based association, nonprofit, or professional service environment
Proven track record as a strategic thinker, strong collaborator, and passionate advocate for high-quality educational programming
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to independently develop and manage processes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong professional writing abilities
Demonstrated capacity to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain composure in fast-paced settings
Flexible, team-oriented mindset with excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities across concurrent projects
High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Willingness and availability to travel up to 20% for events, classes, and conventions
