Job Specifications

· Job Title: SQL Developer

· Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite). After 2-3 months it will be FULL REMOTE

· Duration: 6-12 months (Inside IR35)

Job Description:

Looking for Junior to Mid-level developers

Proficiency in SQL: Strong understanding of SQL syntax, data types, operators, and functions.

Database Design: Knowledge of relational database concepts, normalization, and data modeling principles.

Performance Tuning: Ability to analyze query execution plans and optimize SQL code for performance.

Stored Procedures and Functions: Experience in developing and maintaining stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Ability to extract, transform, and load data for reporting and analysis.

Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve database-related issues.

Communication: Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Strong SQL Programming Skills to write Stored Procedures

Create Dynamic SQL’s to work with Integration API’s

Ability to work with SQL Profiler in identifying and solving issues.

Create Data Extract packages/queries as per requirements

Ability to create Data models for new components

Performance Tuning and Query Optimization

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Experience with a formal SDLC (software development lifecycle) methodology preferred.

Ability to learn new technical skills quickly.
