A leading professional services organisation is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to play a key role in building secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering, security, and automation, and enjoys embedding best-practice DevSecOps ways of working across teams.

The Role

The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating secure cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, while championing modern DevSecOps practices across engineering and product teams.

Key focus areas include:

Building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines
Developing infrastructure-as-code for consistent and compliant cloud environments
Embedding security automation throughout the delivery lifecycle
Improving reliability, observability, resilience, and cost efficiency
Supporting and upskilling teams in DevOps and security best practices

Key Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
Design and manage infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Bicep / Terraform)
Introduce and manage security tooling such as vulnerability scanning, SCA, and SIEM integrations
Implement strong identity, access, and secrets management aligned to zero-trust principles
Embed threat modelling, secure design, and continuous security testing into delivery workflows
Improve observability through logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards
Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning
Act as a subject matter expert for DevSecOps tooling, practices, and governance

Skills & Experience

Proven experience designing and managing secure cloud-native platforms
Strong hands-on experience with Azure, including networking, identity, and security controls
Solid background in CI/CD automation and infrastructure-as-code
Experience embedding security practices such as SAST, DAST, policy-as-code, and threat modelling
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in complex or multi-stakeholder environments
Relevant certifications in Azure, DevOps, or Security (desirable)
Experience with CrowdStrike or similar security tooling is an advantage

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to shape DevSecOps practices in a growing environment, influence engineering standards, and work on meaningful cloud platforms where security is built in from day one.
