A client in the energy sector is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the team for an eight-week engagement.

You will help design a high-level retail energy operating model aligned to a modern SaaS platform, working closely with internal consultants and client stakeholders. The role focuses on shaping a future-state operating model and delivering high-quality documentation that complements a technology proposition.

Responsibilities

Lead or support discovery activities, including current-state assessment and future-state visioning
Design end-to-end retail energy operating models aligned to SaaS platform capabilities
Define core components such as customer service models, contact centre design and back-office processes
Specify roles, responsibilities and interaction models across customer and operational functions
Apply sector insight to ensure the model reflects energy retail regulatory and operational constraints

Requirements

Experience designing retail energy operating models, ideally aligned to SaaS or digital platform capabilities
Strong background in operating model discovery, future-state design and process definition
Familiarity with customer operations, back-office functions and energy retail industry processes

Start date: March 2nd 2026
Duration: 2 months
Day rate: Up to £500, depending on experience
Location: Remote with occasional travel to East Midlands
