Important Points:
The expected rate range for this position is $85/Hr -$92/Hr, depending on experience, skills, and internal equity.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation, including bonuses, commission (if applicable), and/or other incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
Final compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and market factors.

Role Overview:
Join the Funding Technology team within Bank's Capital Markets as an expert IT Business Analyst.
This role supports critical projects in the Funding and Liquidity space, focusing on delivering data-driven solutions for Treasury and liquidity stakeholders.
You will collaborate closely with global agile development teams to elicit, analyze, and prioritize requirements, perform current-state analysis, propose solutions, and drive technology delivery.
A key project involves implementing a tenorized version of assets and liabilities for capital markets products to enable more efficient funding decisions.
The team is part of the business analysis function under Bruce Harris, and this position adds capacity to the existing Product Owner/Business Analyst team to handle growing requirements in Funding Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Treasury and liquidity stakeholders to capture and understand key business requirements in the Funding domain.
Conduct current-state analysis using data exploration tools (e.g., SQL, Excel) to identify gaps and validate needs.
Propose data-informed solutions to address funding challenges and business requirements.
Translate business needs into detailed requirements and collaborate with globally distributed agile development teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.
Lead requirements planning, elicitation, prioritization, and facilitation sessions.
Drive execution of technical builds, ensuring alignment between business objectives and development outcomes.
Communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to influence outcomes and ensure project success.
A typical day may involve:
Stakeholder meetings to gather/validate requirements, data analysis to support proposals, working sessions with dev teams, and progressing project deliverables in an agile environment.
Must-Have Qualifications and Skills:
Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) plus at least 8 years of experience in IT Business Analysis or a closely related role.
Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst (or equivalent) in Capital Markets, Treasury/Liquidity, Risk, or Finance functions.
Advanced expertise in requirements planning, elicitation, and prioritization.
Proficient in SQL with superior data analysis skills (hands-on querying, exploration, and insight generation).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver structured, complex information to diverse audiences and facilitate inclusive discussions.
Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills to build partnerships and influence decisions.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications and Skills:
Master’s degree or relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or equivalent).
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
Experience with Asset Liability Reporting and/or Fund Transfer Pricing.
Knowledge of Capital Markets financial products
Prior experience at Capital Markets.
