Project Manager- Remote
We are seeking an experienced Program / Project Manager to lead and manage enterprise Identity Governance (IGA) initiatives. This role will drive delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams including application onboarding, platform integrations, regulatory controls, and automation initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings strong program governance discipline, structured planning capability, and the ability to translate complex technical efforts into clear, executive-ready reporting. This role ensures IGA initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to regulatory and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Workstream Management
Manage multiple parallel IGA workstreams (e.g., platform deployment, application onboarding, integrations, access reviews, automation).
Develop and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with clear milestones, deliverables, and ownership.
Maintain a fully integrated program plan aligning technical, compliance, and operational activities.
Drive weekly cadence meetings and ensure cross-functional alignment across security, IT, HR, and application teams.
Planning & Governance
Maintain and continuously update:
Integrated master schedule
Risk register with mitigation strategies
Dependency matrix across systems, vendors, and internal teams
Decision and action logs
Proactively identify and manage risks, scope changes, and timeline impacts.
Ensure regulatory and control-related milestones are built into delivery plans.
Executive Reporting & Communication
Generate structured, outcome-focused executive status reports (What / So What / Now What format).
Provide clear visibility into schedule variance, risks, resource constraints, and financial impact.
Translate technical program updates into business-relevant insights for leadership.
Capacity & Resource Planning
Support resource planning across engineering, architecture, compliance, and testing teams.
Conduct capacity analysis to identify bottlenecks and forecast staffing needs.
Align vendor and internal resource allocation to prioritized workstreams.
Support budget tracking and forecasting for IGA initiatives.
Quality & Delivery Assurance
Ensure deliverables meet defined acceptance criteria before stage-gate progression.
Track dependencies across HR systems, directories, application teams, and third-party vendors.
Support UAT planning and production readiness coordination.
Drive continuous improvement in program governance processes.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, preferably in Cybersecurity, IAM, or enterprise platforms.
Proven experience managing large, cross-functional technology programs.
Strong experience creating and managing detailed WBS and integrated project plans.
Demonstrated experience maintaining risk registers and dependency matrices.
Experience supporting capacity planning and resource forecasting.
Strong executive communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing Identity Governance (IGA) or IAM implementations (e.g., Saviynt, SailPoint, or similar platforms).
Experience in regulated environments (SOX, ITGC, or other compliance-driven programs).
PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
Experience working with enterprise integrations (HR systems, Active Directory, ServiceNow).
