About the Team & Impact
This role supports enterprise server operations and business critical applications in a Government environment. You will ensure stability, security, and performance across on prem and cloud systems. The work directly contributes to system availability and reliable public sector service delivery.

Responsibilities
• Administer and maintain enterprise servers and applications to ensure high availability.
• Monitor system health and performance to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues quickly.
• Manage Azure resources, including compute, networking, storage, and security settings.
• Configure and maintain virtualization environments to support scalable workloads.
• Perform system patching, backups, and disaster recovery activities to protect data integrity.
• Set up and manage IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) jobs to support operational workflows.
• Administer SQL Server and MySQL databases for reliability and performance.
• Support CMOD, VPSX, WBI, and MQ environments as part of operational duties.
• Respond to incidents, participate in on call rotation, and document resolutions.
• Use AI-enabled tools to enhance diagnostics, automation, and incident analysis.
Must‑Have Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior System Administrator in enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Windows Server, virtu
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, security, monitoring).
• Experience with AI-enabled monitoring or diagnostic tools.
• Solid experience with system patching, backup strategies, and disaster recovery operations.
• Practical experience with IBM Workload Scheduler (IWS) for job setup and scheduling.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server and MySQL administration.
Experience with CMOD, VPSX, WBI, and MQ
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (PagerDuty, Nagios, or equivalent).
