General
Reporting to the Head of Direct Sales, and in line with the defined strategic direction, the Direct Sales & Digital Specialist is responsible for delivering revenue and margin in accordance with the targets of the Direct Sales division.

Business to Consumer (B2C) Webshops: GR, Pentax, Theta
B2C Marketplaces: C-Discount, Media Markt
Business to Business (B2B) Webshop: Ricoh Imaging Europe
The ideal candidate is a reliable, hands-on and adaptable Digital Specialist who can integrate quickly, work with structure, and take ownership of priorities in a fast-moving environment. Previous experience in e-commerce is a strong advantage, but we are also open to a candidate with a shorter track record if showing strong learning agility, sound judgment, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. Candidates communicate clearly and professionally, are fluent in English (spoken and written) to collaborate effectively with international stakeholders and external partners. They are well organised, detail-focused, comfortable using data to support decisions, and able to manage several topics at once without losing quality. Flexibility is key, as the scope may evolve according to business needs and the Direct Sales & Digital Specialist is expected to operate across the full Direct Sales portfolio and ensure continuity during rotations and absences.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management of the assigned web shop back office via Shopify (order and customer administration, product availability/status updates, pricing and promotion set-up, content publishing, basic troubleshooting, etc.)
Day-to-day management of the assigned marketplace back office (catalogue and listing maintenance, pricing and availability updates, order follow-up, customer claims/returns handling, and issue escalation when required)
Day-to-day management of sales operations, including order maintenance, fraud management, product returns, and customer support via Zendesk
Day-to-day liaison with internal stakeholders supporting direct sales, including (but not limited to) Finance, IT, and Sales Administration, to ensure smooth end-to-end execution of online orders, including stock availability checks and allocation requests, shipment follow-up, order maintenance and issue resolution, confirmation of cancellation feasibility, coordination and follow-up of refunds/reimbursements, and management of returns-related actions when required
Day-to-day liaison with external agencies as required (SEO, SEA, Marketplace feed management, etc.), brief agencies based on defined objectives, ensure they provide actionable recommendations and a clear yearly plan, and monitor delivery and results against agreed KPIs and budgets (fees and media spend)
Management of CRM communications via Klaviyo, including newsletter planning and sending in line with commercial activity, set-up and optimisation of key automated flows (welcome series, abandoned cart/browse, post-purchase, win-back), and ongoing data collection and database quality/segmentation to support customer engagement and conversion
Management of platform development and transformation, in coordination with the web development agency, to ensure the best possible user experience (bug fixes, plugin improvements, customisation, coding, etc.)
Management of the online product database and product display, including pricing, status, visibility, availability, cross-selling, upselling, categorisation, and product type
Management of product content (visual assets, copy, translations, etc.) in coordination with internal stakeholders (Marketing, designers, external agencies, etc.) for all direct sales activities, including product pages, blog articles, newsletters, promotions, and advertising
Management and implementation of direct sales promotions (coupons, discount, Buy one get one free, etc.) defined by the sales activities calendar (Christmas, Summer, Black Friday, Valentine’s day, etc.)
Measurement and evaluation of agency performance using available data sources, including (but not limited to) Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics
