Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a leading global professional services organization to hire Accounts Payable Associates for a 6‑month contract. This opportunity is ideal for individuals seeking to deepen their finance and accounting experience within a fast‑paced, collaborative corporate environment. You will join a highly regarded team where accuracy, efficiency, and strong analytical capabilities are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Process and verify vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts
Assist with payment runs, reconciliations, and transaction validations
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally and promptly
Support period-end AP activities, including documentation and reporting
Maintain organized financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls
Collaborate with the finance team on ad hoc tasks or process improvement initiatives

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (required)
3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion (preferred)
Professional designation or working toward one (CPA, CIA, or equivalent international designation) is an asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline‑driven environment
Ability to analyze discrepancies and apply sound problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach
