QA Engineer (ServiceNow) – Hybrid, Marlow

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Hybrid – 2 Days per Week Onsite in Marlow

A leading UK technology services company is looking for a QA Engineer with ServiceNow experience to join its Business Systems team, supporting the delivery of critical internal platforms as the organisation continues to grow and scale.

You’ll be embedded within a ServiceNow implementation squad, playing a key role in shaping test strategy and ensuring high-quality releases across both in-house and third-party systems.

The Role

As a QA Engineer, you’ll take ownership of testing activity within your squad, working closely with Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts and Scrum Masters to ensure changes meet business needs and are delivered to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role covering both manual and automated testing, with real influence over test plans, processes and quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Create, review and execute test plans and scripts (manual and automated)
Analyse technical and functional requirements and user stories to define test coverage
Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, BAs and Scrum Masters within sprint cycles
Manage risks and issues identified during test execution
Validate solutions with business stakeholders
Log and manage defects using tools such as Jira, Zephyr or Azure DevOps
Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and standards

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a QA / software testing role
Experience with manual and/or automated test execution
Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall SDLC
Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITSM and CSM
Understanding of ITIL framework
Confident working with development teams to resolve defects
Strong attention to detail and passion for quality

Nice to Have

ServiceNow ATF automation experience
Knowledge of non-functional testing (performance, security, load)
ServiceNow and/or ISTQB certifications
Experience testing ServiceNow TPSM
