Your Position & How You Will Contribute

Reporting to the Director, Financial Planning and Capital Management, the Manager, Logistics & Procurement will oversee end-to-end sourcing, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics operations required to build, maintain, and scale our fibre network. This role ensures timely availability of fibre cables, active network equipment, customer-premise devices, and other operational supplies while optimizing cost, vendor performance, and supply chain reliability.

Responsibilities & Key Duties

Procurement Management

Develop and execute procurement strategies for fibre network materials (cables, ducts, OLT/ONT equipment, splitters, handholes, network hardware, tools, consumables).
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms on quality, price, and delivery.
Manage RFQ, RFP, and vendor selection processes.
Maintain supplier relationships and monitor performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Logistics & Inventory Management

Plan and manage logistics for inbound shipments, customs clearance (if applicable), warehousing, and last-mile distribution to project sites.
Develop efficient transportation plans for timely delivery of materials to field operations and contractors.
Maintain accurate inventory levels; implement tracking systems and re-order points to avoid stock outs and overstock.
Oversee storage, handling, and security of network assets and materials.
Manage third-party logistics relationships.

Project & Cross-Functional Coordination

Collaborate with Network Engineering, Construction, and Operations teams to forecast material needs for new developments and installations.
Work closely with Finance for budgeting, cost controls, and cash-flow planning.

Process, Reporting & Systems

Implement or improve procurement and logistics systems (SAGE inventory management software, tracking tools).
Generate regular reports on purchasing performance, cost savings, inventory status, and supplier metrics.
Ensure audit readiness and maintain accurate supply chain documentation.

What You Bring

Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor-management skills.
Knowledge of fibre network materials and telecom equipment (highly preferred).
Proficiency in inventory management software (SAGE).
Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management abilities.
Ability to thrive in fast-growth and dynamic environments.

Experience

5–8 years of experience in procurement/logistics, ideally within telecommunications, fibre networks, or utilities infrastructure.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management , Logistics, Business, Engineering, or related field.
