Our client is a top financial institution with significant North American holdings. They have operations across most major verticals, including institutional & corporate, wealth management, private client, commercial banking, treasury, and retail banking. 
 
Introduction: Robertson is seeking a skilled Associate Manager - AI Governance & Enablement to join our clientin support of an existingvacancy.

Contract Period: 6 months with potential to extend or convert
Pay Rate: Starting from $24 per hour
Location: Toronto, ON
Location Type: Hybrid
Business Hours: Monday-Friday;9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing AI and model risk governance frameworks aligned to internal and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSFI E 23, MAS MRM, SR 11 7)
Assist in communicating AI model risk governance standards, procedures, and expectations to relevant stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner
Contribute to the uplift, simplification, and streamlining of governance processes and procedures to drive operational efficiency and consistency across the AI lifecycle
Support the development, documentation, and ongoing enhancement of guidelines, ensuring they are clearly articulated, actionable, and tailored to the intended audience
Coordinate activities, track deliverables, and assist with status reporting for Responsible AI and governance workstreams
Help schedule working sessions, prepare meeting materials, and document action items
Support cross-functional collaboration with data science, MLOps, technology risk, compliance, legal, and business partners
Conduct research on emerging AI governance standards, tools, and regulatory developments
Summarize findings for the AI Governance Manager, including insights on global RAI trends and best practices
Assist in developing training content, communications, and reference materials to raise awareness of AI governance expectations across the organization
Experience & Qualification Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree
1-3 years of experience in AI/ML operations, data governance, risk management, compliance, audit, or technology project coordination
Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to synthesize information and draft clear, structured documentation
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and model development lifecycles (academic exposure is acceptable)
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Experience working with risk, compliance, or model governance frameworks
Exposure to regulatory standards such as OSFI E 23, GDPR, SR 11 7, or Responsible AI principles
Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, or MLOps tooling
Certifications or coursework in AI governance, Responsible AI, data science, project management, or risk (e.g., GARP RAI, PMP, analytics bootcamps
Business & risk management skill
Data governance experience
Knowledge about AI
