Job Description
As a Senior Revenue Operations Specialist at Vention…
Reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, you will own day-to-day operation, data quality, and reliability of our revenue systems. You are responsible for ensuring that leads and opportunities move seamlessly across our Sales & marketing funnel, and generate insights to improve Revenue operations. You will partner closely with Sales Managers, AEs, BDRs, and Growth to analyze funnel performance, identify inefficiencies, and help shape high-impact GTM initiatives. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone with solid Salesforce experience who wants to work closer to the business, not just build technical solutions.
Core Responsibilities
Manage lead-to-opportunity routing, funnel stage definitions, and the automation (Salesloft/Salesforce) that drives seller workflows.
Own and govern sales routing business rules (territory logic, round-robin structures, SLAs), ensuring alignment with GTM strategy
Analyze end-to-end funnel performance (From lead to opportunity to bookings) to identify bottlenecks, conversion gaps, and revenue impact
Data Governance & Hygiene: Act as the gatekeeper for our CRM data model. You’ll manage object/field health, deduplication, and the "source of truth" logic.
Revenue Logistics: Execute critical "offline-to-online" operations, including quota uploads, commission report syncing, and lead list imports from industrial events.
Sales support: Build the reporting and dashboarding that sales managers rely on to run their weekly 1:1s and forecast meetings.
Establish and maintain a rigorous documentation standard to ensure long-term system scalability and seamless team collaboration.
Short-term goals (first 90 days):
Learn Vention Revenue systems incl. Lead routing, lead lifecycle and status, opportunity management, how Salesforce and Salesloft interact
Master the key maintenance tasks of our systems: take over day-to-day seller support, upload lead batches, create commission reports
Identify 2-3 inefficiencies in our Sales funnel and potential initiatives to solve them
Create a robust nurturing infrastructure for existing leads, incl. cadences, reporting, SLAs
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table
4–6 years work experience, including 2-3 in Salesforce Admin, ideally within a high-growth B2B environment
Advanced proficiency in Salesforce (Certifications preferred) and experience with Sales Engagement platforms (e.g., Salesloft, Gong, or Outreach)
Strong data analytics and ability to work with large datasets
Ability to translate data into structured insights and business recommendations
Experience with data visualization programs (PowerBI preferred) and CRM analytics is a must
Ability to organize, prioritize tasks, take ownership and be proactive in helping others work effectively
Bachelor’s degree in an analytical and quantitative field (Commerce, Economics, Engineering, etc.) preferred
An asset: Exposure to key Revenue Operations areas: lead routing, lead lifecycle management, sales commission
