We are looking for a Senior Agile Coach with 6–7+ years of Agile coaching experience. The candidate should have experience working with leadership teams and driving Agile transformation and culture change within the organization.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Agile Coach to work directly with software development teams to improve delivery effectiveness, collaboration, and predictability. The organization has already adopted agile as a delivery framework. This is an opportunity to work alongside a few other coaches to assess the transformation, identify improvement opportunities, plan the transformation roadmap, and deliver. This role focuses on hands-on coaching of teams, Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, Scrum Masters, and management to strengthen agile practices, enable continuous improvement, and support a culture of learning and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
Coach software development teams in agile principles, practices, and mindset
Observe team dynamics and provide actionable feedback to improve performance
Partner with Product Owners to improve backlog quality, story slicing, and prioritization
Support Scrum Masters in improving facilitation and team health
Help teams improve flow, predictability, and quality of delivery
Facilitate retrospectives and improvement workshops
Identify systemic impediments and collaborate with leadership to resolve them
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience working in an Agile environment with software development teams
Demonstrated experience coaching Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid agile teams
Strong understanding of modern software development practices (CI/CD, DevOps concepts, test automation, backlog management)
Experience facilitating agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement)
Proven ability to coach Product Owners and Scrum Masters in their roles
Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and design
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting agile adoption at the team or multi-team level
Prior experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Engineering Manager
Agile certification (CSM, CSP, ICP-ACC, ICP-ENT, SPC, or equivalent)
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tools
