Salesforce Business Analyst

Windsor, UK (1 day onsite per week) | £400 per day (Inside IR35) | 6-Month Contract

Our client, a top global organization, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to support the delivery and enhancement of Salesforce solutions within a dynamic and customer-focused environment. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyse processes, and translate requirements into functional Salesforce solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving improvements across business processes while ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
Lead workshops to elicit requirements and map current and future processes for Salesforce implementations
Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
Identify opportunities to improve existing business processes and system functionality
Support the design and delivery of new Salesforce features from a customer-centric perspective
Provide functional guidance to ensure solutions align with business objectives and user needs
Create user stories with clear acceptance criteria using the Given / When / Then format
Work within Agile, Lean, or Scrum delivery frameworks
Produce functional designs and visual workflows using tools such as Miro
Ensure business processes and Salesforce functionality align with regulatory requirements
Understand and support compliance related to GDPR consent management within the utilities sector
Align new requirements with existing operational processes

Essential Experience

6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
Strong experience working with Salesforce CRM environments
Experience with process mapping, business analysis, and functional design
Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
Ability to create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation
Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills

Desirable Skills

Salesforce Certified Administrator
Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Consultant certification
Experience working within the energy or utilities sector
Understanding of GDPR consent management within regulated industries
