Full Stack .NET / React Developer

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Rate: $50–$55/hr on W-2

No C2C or Third-Party Candidates

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support a modernization initiative focused on transforming legacy enterprise applications into modern, scalable systems using current technologies.

This role will involve rewriting existing applications using modern .NET, React, and SQL Server technologies to improve performance, maintainability, and long-term operational support. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, QA testers, and business analysts in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable full-stack applications using modern development frameworks and technologies.
Build and maintain front-end interfaces using React.
Develop server-side APIs and application logic using .NET C#.
Design and maintain database solutions using SQL Server.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, DevOps engineers, QA testers, and business analysts to deliver high-quality solutions.
Follow clean code principles, architectural best practices, and development standards.
Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and CI/CD deployment processes.
Contribute to application modernization efforts by replacing legacy systems with modern, supported technologies.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in full-stack application development
3+ years of hands-on experience with React
5+ years of experience with .NET / C# development
Experience building REST APIs and server-side services
5+ years of experience with SQL Server
Strong experience working in Agile development environments
Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience working on application modernization projects
Familiarity with DevOps pipelines and CI/CD processes
Experience collaborating with UI/UX teams
Knowledge of modern cloud-based architectures
