Looking for a Contract SOC Auditor for Software Products – Remote Roles

Pay rate: $50 - $52/hr on W2

Duration: 4+ months with possibility of longer-term extensions

ROLE:

Consultant needed for SOC audit to perform the following duties:

Coordinate meetings and send out invitations as needed

Gather evidence and review to ensure appropriate information has been provided

Upload reviewed and approved evidence to the FieldGuide platform.

Assist with gathering evidence for samples received from SOC auditors

Assist with providing follow-up evidence requested from SOC auditors

Help assist with tracking of evidence received and reviewed.

EQUIRED EXPERIENCE: MUST HAVE:

Compliance Frameworks: SOC 2, NIST (especially SP 800-53), and ISO 27001 standards

Evidence Management Platforms/Tools: GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools/platforms (e.g., RSA Archer, LogicGate, ServiceNow, Jira, or FieldGuide platform)

Audit Preparation & Documentation: Experience in reviewing, organizing, uploading, and tracking audit evidence and documenting compliance processes and findings

Operating Systems: Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments

Basic Scripting/Automation: Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating evidence collection or review tasks

Security Controls & Assessment Tools: Experience using vulnerability scanners or assessment tools (e.g., Tenable.io/Nessus agent, SIEM platforms)

Identity & Access Management (IAM): Familiarity with managing access controls for evidence and audit purposes
