IT Asset & Configuration Management (ITAM / SACM) Manager

Location: London | Hybrid

Contract Length: 6 Months

IR35 Status: Outside

We're looking for an ITAM / SACM Manager to lead end‑to‑end asset and configuration management across a large, complex enterprise environment.

What You’ll Lead

Full governance framework for IT Asset & Configuration Management
End‑to‑end lifecycle management for software, hardware, and CIs
ServiceNow SAM Pro, HAM Pro and CMDB capability, automation & optimisation
Software licensing compliance and vendor audit management
CMDB roadmap, data quality, and alignment to ITSM processes
Risk reduction, lifecycle integrity, and operational governance
Reporting on compliance, CMDB health, lifecycle risks, and optimisation opportunities

What You’ll Bring

Essential

Significant experience in ITAM (SAM/HAM) and/or SACM
Strong knowledge of ITSM processes
Hands‑on ServiceNow SAM Pro, HAM Pro, and CMDB governance
Experience managing vendor audits and software compliance
Excellent stakeholder engagement across IT, Finance, Procurement & Legal
Strong reporting, KPI creation, and data governance discipline
Ability to translate technical detail into business impact

Desirable

Experience with service mapping & service model alignment
Familiarity with discovery tooling & reconciliation
Awareness of cloud licensing models & optimisation practice

Certifications (Nice-to-have)

ITIL | ServiceNow (ITSM/CMDB) | IAITAM (e.g., CSAM)
