About AlayaCare

At AlayaCare, we're more than a fast-growing SaaS company — we're a caring, driven team working to transform home healthcare. Our cloud-based platform empowers care providers around the world to deliver better outcomes for their clients and communities.

With 550+ employees across Canada, the US, Australia, and Brazil, we're united by a shared mission and a culture grounded in transparency, growth, and human connection. Whether you're early in your career or a seasoned expert, AlayaCare is a place to grow your impact, your skills, and your career — alongside people who want you to succeed.

About The Role

You love data and systems and are naturally curious about how things work and how they can work better. You bring exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and critical thinking skills, often thinking a few steps ahead, spotting inconsistencies, and digging into the "why" behind the data. You are comfortable rolling up your sleeves, whether improving an existing process or starting from scratch, and you enjoy building, iterating, and refining solutions that create real efficiency.

In this role, you will work hands-on with our HR systems, including BambooHR, to improve how data flows, how processes are automated, and how insights are surfaced for the business. You are able to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Just as important, you communicate clearly and thoughtfully, translating technical or complex concepts into concise, practical insights for a broad range of partners.

You are trusted to handle large volumes of data, as well as confidential and sensitive information, with care and discretion, and you take pride in delivering accurate, reliable work that others can depend on.

This is a full-time, permanent role with no travel requirements. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.

What You'll Do

Administer and maintain core HR systems, ensuring accurate transactions, approvals, bulk updates, and configuration changes
Maintain and enhance data flows and integrations across People & Culture, IT, Finance, and Payroll using APIs, webhooks, and vendor connectors
Recommend and implement system enhancements, new features, and process improvements that improve data quality, governance, and user experience
Act as the HR technology specialist on system upgrades, new module deployments, and new system implementations, including testing, data validation, and documentation
Own the people data lifecycle across systems, ensuring consistent definitions, trusted data sources, and strong data governance Identify and automate manual or error-prone processes using AI tools, scripting, APIs, or low-code solutions
Analyze and translate people data into clear insights, narratives, and self-serve reporting that support decision-making for HR leaders and business partners
Partner closely with People & Culture, IT, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to align systems, data, and ways of working across the organization

What You Bring to the Team

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field
3–5 years of experience working with HR systems, people data, or HR analytics
Strong experience with HRIS platforms, including configuration, reporting, data maintenance, and governance (BambooHR experience is an asset)
Hands-on experience with HR data, people analytics, and reporting, with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
Strong analytical mindset with a high bar for data accuracy, structure, and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
Experience with HRIS audits, automation tools, APIs, or low- or no-code platforms is an asset
