What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially minded strategic People leader to step into a high impact maternity cover position on a part time basis (2-3 days per week, including a minimum of one day per week in the office), ensuring continuity, consistency and sustained performance impact across our people operating model.
This person will:
Oversee and ensure consistent application of our competency framework across recruitment, performance and progression, working closely with department leaders.
Help to shape and deliver our strategic People roadmap, maintaining pace and focus against agreed priorities.
Monitor and report on the commercial impact of People initiatives, linking outcomes to revenue, margin, utilisation and productivity.
Partner closely with the Brave Bison Performance & Commerce CEO and Group COO, ensuring organisational performance remains aligned with commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic People Advisor – Braver Bison Performance & Commerce
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on team structures, succession planning, goal setting, and team performance.
Facilitate regular sessions with leaders to align priorities, share data driven insights, and address challenges or capability gaps.
People strategy
In collaboration with the Brave Bison Performance & Commerce CEO, Group COO and Head of People Operations, help to shape and oversee the implementation of initiatives within our People Strategy that support organisational goals and growth.
Ensure People Strategy initiatives deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Career development
Maintain and optimise existing competency frameworks. Ensure frameworks remain aligned to recruitment, performance and progression.
Collaborate with the wider People team to support ongoing refinement of the performance review process in line with business needs.
Ensure career pathways are transparent, equitable, and aligned with organisational priorities.
Training
Work with department leaders to assess future skills needs within their teams and analyse current skills gaps to inform strategic workforce planning.
Enable department leaders to effectively curate and populate learning pathways tailored to their teams’ needs.
Oversee the delivery, and measurement of the T-Shaped Marketing Course.
Provide strategic oversight for internal leadership and line management training initiatives, ensuring they strengthen people management capabilities and support future leadership needs.
