You will join a large enterprise environment where cloud infrastructure is business-critical and built for stability, security, and scale. The organization operates a mature hybrid cloud landscape, combining on-premise infrastructure with Microsoft Azure, and places strong emphasis on automation, governance, and operational excellence.

This role combines architectural ownership with hands-on implementation, making it ideal for a Cloud Architect who enjoys designing robust platforms and staying close to the technology.

Key Responsibilities

Design, govern, and evolve a hybrid cloud architecture spanning on-premise and Microsoft Azure
Provision, manage, and secure Windows and Linux virtual machines across environments
Lead the migration of message broker infrastructure to a managed cloud-based solution
Design and implement a centralized logging and observability architecture
Establish and maintain configuration management and server compliance standards
Support repository and artifact management for application teams
Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams on daily operations and troubleshooting

You have 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or Senior Cloud Engineer in enterprise environments
You bring deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, storage, governance, and security
You have strong hands-on experience in Linux system administration
You have proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
You have experience designing and operating hybrid cloud architectures (on-premise + public cloud)
You are comfortable working hands-on while maintaining architectural oversight
You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Haves

Experience with message broker platforms and managed cloud equivalents
Experience designing centralized logging solutions (e.g. Elasticsearch-based stacks)
Experience with configuration management and compliance tooling
Exposure to repository management platforms (e.g. artifact repositories)
Experience working in environments with high security and compliance requirements
