This role exists to build the growth engine of Affilifest
Affilifest is building the defining events and community business for the affiliate and partnerships industry.Our flagship events in Margate and Manchester are already becoming must-attend moments. We’re now scaling that momentum, expanding formats, and preparing for international growth.
This role is our first dedicated marketing hire.You will own how Affilifest attracts the right brands, sponsors, and community. You will turn insight, trust, and momentum into a structured, repeatable growth engine.This is not a coordination role. This is an ownership role.You will write, build, launch, and improve campaigns yourself.Over time, you will help define and scale the marketing function.

What you’ll own
Build and run the Affilifest growth engine
You will design and execute campaigns that drive:
Brand registrations
Sponsor pipeline and inbound interest
Event demand and momentum
Industry awareness and credibility
You will own campaign execution end-to-end across email, LinkedIn, paid media, and lifecycle.
You will prioritise what works, test improvements, and scale what performs.
Turn real industry insight into marketing that converts
Affilifest sits at the centre of the industry.
You will turn conversations, panels, roundtables, and founder insight into:
LinkedIn content
Email campaigns
Landing pages
Sales assets
Sponsor narratives
Event campaigns
Content at Affilifest exists to drive action, not impressions.
Build lifecycle and comms foundations that scale
You will establish structured lifecycle journeys across:
Brand prospects
Sponsors
Attendees
Community members
You will build automations, segmentation, and nurture flows so momentum builds continuously.Not just at launch moments.
Own performance marketing and experimentation
You will run and improve paid campaigns across:
LinkedIn, Meta, Google
You’ll manage testing across:
Messaging,Creative,Audiences,Landing pages
We care about learning fast and improving outcomes.Not building overly complex performance systems.
Reduce founder dependency and build scalable systems
Today, much of Affilifest’s marketing momentum comes directly from the founders.
You will help turn that momentum into repeatable systems.
This means:
Turning insight into campaigns
Turning conversations into assets
Running launches independently
Building infrastructure that compounds over time
Your job is to make growth scalable.
In your first 6 months, we’d expect you to have...
Taken full ownership of marketing execution and performance.
Established structured campaigns and lifecycle journeys that consistently drive registrations and sponsor interest.
Improved the volume and quality of inbound demand.
Reduced reliance on founder-led marketing execution.
Run meaningful tests and established clear insight into what drives growth.
Successfully supported at least one major Affilifest event cycle.
Built trust internally as the person who owns and drives marketing.

We are looking for a T-shaped growth marketer.This means you:
Have broad capability across content, lifecycle, demand generation, and performance.
And deep strength in at least one area that genuinely drives growth.
You are both strategic and hands-on.
You can see the big picture and execute the work yourself.
Must have
Strong track record of hands-on marketing execution
Excellent writing and positioning instinct
High ownership mindset and bias toward action
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and early-stage environments
Experience in B2B, events, SaaS, partnerships, or community-led businesses
Comfortable working directly with founders
Ability to prioritise, test, and improve continuously
Nice to have
Experience marketing events
Experience in affiliate, partnerships, or creator ecosystems
Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM
Experience running paid acquisition campaigns
This role is not a fit if you
Prefer managing agencies instead of executing yourself
Need highly structured environments with clear playbooks already in place
Focus on activity rather than outcomes
Prefer brand marketing without commercial ownership
How success will be measured
Success in this role is defined by commercial impact, not activity.
This includes:
Increased volume and quality of brand registrations
Increased inbound sponsor interest and pipeline contribution
Improved conversion rates across marketing channels
Strong lifecycle engagement and audience growth
Reduced founder dependency for marketing execution
Establishing Affilifest as a must-follow brand in the industry
