As a ServiceNow Presales Specialist you will play a crucial role in collaborating with our sales team and clients to understand their requirements, scope, and size opportunities effectively.
Your primary responsibilities will revolve around providing ServiceNow support and translating customer requirements into tailored ServiceNow (ITSM, CMDB, Software and Hardware Asset Management (SAM/HAM), Procurement, and Contract Management) solutions to meet client needs, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, defining margins in alignment with both sales and delivery teams, drafting statements of work, and curating a repository of solution collaterals.
The ServiceNow Presales Specialist identifies, develops, and lands opportunities for defined portfolio elements in cooperation with Account Management.
Role and Responsibility
Sales Support and Collaboration
Provide technical guidance and support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial discovery to solution design and proposal development.
Proactively identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional products or services to existing clients.
Scoping and Sizing Opportunities
Engage with prospects and customers to understand their business objectives, current challenges, and desired outcomes in areas such as ITSM, CMDB, SAM, HAM, Contract and Procurement.
Utilize analytical skills to scope and size opportunities effectively, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational capabilities.
Solution Design and Proposal Development
Design customized solutions that align with client requirements, leveraging your expertise and knowledge of our service offerings and present these and any necessary demos.
Define margins for proposed solutions in coordination with the (in country) pre-sales and delivery teams, ensuring profitability while meeting client expectations.
Draft clear and comprehensive statements of work (SOWs) in collaboration with the (in country) pre-sales, that outline project deliverables, timelines, and terms of engagement.
Creation and Maintenance of Solution Collaterals
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Technology Workflows product suite and effectively communicate the ServiceNow roadmap to customers.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, delivery, and marketing to ensure consistent messaging, solution accuracy, and enablement.
Establish and maintain a repository of solution collaterals, including case studies, white papers, presentations, and other relevant materials.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling sales collateral, presentations, and other materials to support the sales process.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, (International) Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Fluent English and French.
Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills
Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, with the ability to contribute effectively to the sales cycle from late stage opportunity qualification to closing.
Proven ability to collaborate with sales teams, providing technical expertise and support to drive revenue growth and client acquisition. Ability to position multiple offerings from the ServiceNow portfolio to customer as a combined solution to customer’s business problems.
Experience and/or ability to sell Managed Services, and cross-sell business value add-ons and can up-sell to multiple attached add-ons within add-on tiers.
Solid problem solving and consultative skills required
Ability to independently conduct meetings with engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel regarding positioning sales and solutions
Comprehensive understanding of industry trends and market dynamics within the appropriate technology services sector.
Ability to stay updated on ServiceNow and competitive technologies and developments, providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance our solution offerings and competitive positioning.
Maintain and acquire sales- and technical certifications in assigned area and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
Maintain and report on regional sales pipeline, and project status
Proficient knowledge of SoftwareOne services, solutions, and products
