Job Description: Program Manager – IT & OT Transformation (Oil & Gas)
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with 8–10 years of experience and strong exposure to the Oil & Gas vertical to lead highly complex IT and OT transformation programs. This role requires deep understanding of operational technology environments, safety‑critical systems, and geographically distributed site execution, combined with strong program governance and project management expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and govern large-scale IT & OT transformation programs in safety‑critical Oil & Gas environments.
Manage multiple interdependent projects spanning OT production, OT non‑production, and IT workloads.
Own program planning, execution, risk management, budget control, dependency tracking, and quality assurance.
Drive site-by-site execution across geographically distributed operational locations rather than centralized data center migrations.
Coordinate closely with operations, engineering, IT, OT, cybersecurity, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, cybersecurity, and vendor certification requirements.
Manage executive and operational stakeholder communications, including steering committee updates and risk escalations.
Align delivery schedules with operational realities such as production freezes, maintenance windows, and validation cycles.
Mentor project managers and technical leads to ensure consistent delivery and governance standards.
Required Experience & Qualifications
8–10 years of experience in program and project management.
Mandatory experience in the Oil & Gas vertical (upstream, midstream, or downstream).
Proven experience delivering IT & OT transformation programs in operational environments.
Strong understanding of OT infrastructure, safety‑critical systems, and IT/OT convergence challenges.
Expertise in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
Hands‑on experience with project/program management tools (MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
