Templeton & Partners are urgently hiring a Product Owner for a leading global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company. This is a senior-level role supporting North America commercial teams and leading the delivery of data and analytics products.

Role Overview

As the Product Owner, you’ll act as the key link between the commercial business and technology teams. You’ll manage analytical products end-to-end, work closely with Sales and Commercial Finance stakeholders, and lead cross-functional technical squads (data engineers, BI developers, analysts).

Key Responsibilities

Own and deliver data and analytics products used across Sales, Commercial Finance, and the wider commercial function.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead and coordinate technical teams (engineering, data, BI).
Communicate product vision, progress, and insights to senior leadership.
Manage roadmaps, priorities, and end‑to‑end delivery of analytical solutions.

Requirements

Must-Have

CPG / FMCG industry experience (critical for success).
Experience owning analytics or data products.
Strong understanding of technical delivery and product architecture.
Ability to lead technical squads and influence senior business stakeholders.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and synthesis skills.

Strong Profiles Include

Analytical Product Managers
Technical Product Managers
Product Owners with data/analytics experience
Technical BAs with leadership exposure

Location & Working Model

Must be based in North America
Strong preference for New York
Hybrid: 2–3 days per week onsite

Contract Details

High likelihood of extension beyond initial term.
Strong possibility of contract-to-hire for successful candidates.
