Key Support Responsibilities
Data & Analytics Platform Support
• Assist with the development, testing, and maintenance of data pipelines used for analytics and reporting.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation from enterprise and OT systems.
• Contribute to data modeling efforts that align with asset hierarchies, work management processes, and operational KPIs.
• Help identify data quality issues and support remediation activities under guidance from full time engineers or architects.
Utility & OT Asset Management Support
• Support analytics and reporting activities related to utility asset management.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting using:
• Help prepare datasets, reports, and dashboards supporting asset health, maintenance trends, reliability metrics, and compliance needs.
OT Asset Baseline Support
• Support OT asset management baseline efforts by assisting with:
o Asset inventory validation
o Baseline attribute tracking
o Data consistency checks against systems of record
• Assist with baseline compliance reporting and visibility into configuration drift.
• Coordinate with OT engineering, asset management, and cybersecurity teams as directed.
OT Password & Credential Management Support
• Support OT password and credential management initiatives by:
o Assisting with data collection and reporting for compliance visibility
o Supporting dashboards and reports that track credential rotation, exceptions, and remediation status
• Provide analytical support only, no direct credential administration or policy ownership.
Report Designer / Business Intelligence Support
• Assist as a Report Designer supporting enterprise reporting initiatives.
• Support development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards, paginated reports, and datasets.
• Help translate defined business requirements into report visuals, layouts, and KPI representations.
• Support adherence to established reporting standards, governance, and data accuracy requirements.
Low Code & Automation Support
• Assist with development and maintenance of Power Apps used for operational workflows and reporting support.
• Support Power Automate flows that enable reporting delivery, notifications, approvals, and exception handling.
• Help integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL databases, Maximo, ASPEN, PowerSYSTEM Center, ServiceNow, and other enterprise systems.
Tool Integration Support (Non Owner)
• Support and assist with tool integration activities under the direction of system owners and architects.
• Assist with:
o Data mapping and interface configuration
o Integration testing and validation
o Troubleshooting and issue analysis
• Help document data flows, dependencies, and operational procedures.
• No ownership or approval authority for integrations or production changes.
Operational & Platform Support
• Support operational activities such as data quality checks, basic monitoring, and issue triage.
• Assist with ServiceNow incident, request, and change records related to analytics and data integrations.
• Support monitoring activities using Microsoft System Center in coordination with platform owners.
• Escalate issues appropriately to full time staff or designated owners.
